The Cave & Waterfall of Seythenex (Grotte & Cascade de Seythenex) are natural sites at the foot of the Bauges mountains, down from Col de TamiĆ© and Pointe de la Sambuy. The waterfall is formed by the Saint-Ruph torrent which pours from 45 meters high into large pools, on the way to Lake Annecy. A footbridge and staircases enable visitors to walk up to the top of the waterfall. As to the cave, it is the only one open to the general public in Haute Savoie. It has 1km of galeries and passages, with 250m accessible as part of a guided tour.

Go left on the small road direction Pont de Seythenex and, following the signs, follow a grass path that takes you back to the road. Continue right to reach Le Tertenoz then go left along the road. Leave it after about 150 m to go down to the right by a small road then, by the way, find the D12 at the Pont de Seythenex. Cross and descend opposite direction Seythenex by the small road that passes under the bridge and, after crossing the creek of Bard next to a renovated sawmill, goes back and goes under the bridge. Go left to join the village of Seythenex, then turn right to find the parking.
