In the beautiful region of Señorío de Molina and within the Alto Tajo Natural Park, is the town of Poveda de la Sierra, in whose surroundings we find one of the most spectacular corners of the area, known as Salto de Poveda.
The waterfall has a drop of about 20 meters, while its width reaches 10 meters, highlighting the noise of falling water, which breaks the silence of the place.
Next to this beautiful scenario you will find a resturent, and very close also a leisure area, the Fuente del Berro Recreational Area, where there is a pleasant chopera with tables and benches, an ideal place to take your food and spend a day.
From the CM-210 road that joins Poveda de la sierra towards Taravilla, at the height of km 76, there is a forest track that will run along the entire course of the Tajo river, and after crossing 6 km of forest track, you will arrive at the lagoon of Taravilla, of natural origin and with a depth of about 15 meters.

From the Taravilla lagoon you can go down a steep slope and after about ten minutes of travel we reach the Tajo riverbed, from this part of the river, you can observe the Poveda waterfall from a frontal view. This waterfall is the largest waterfall in the Alto Tajo natural park.
