The largest waterfall in the state with 105 meters of height, is surrounded by forests offering an ideal panorama to take long walks in its surroundings or to practice mountaineering in the surrounding walls. Going down to this place requires some physical condition, but its striking beauty and with the only sound being the falling of the water, you will not regret it. You can also go horseback riding, rappelling, mountain biking, fishing and more.

4km before getting to the town of Tapalpa take the left turns that goes 2km to La Cofradia del Rosario. There go to the right, passing Barranca del Refugio another 2.9km to the end of the road where there is a tourist parking area. Follow the tourist trail for about 150m from the parking lot, and cut off to the right down into the stream and follow that to the top of the cascade.
