The spectacular waterfall known variously as An Steall BànSteall Waterfall or Steall Falls is situated in Glen Nevis near Fort William, Highland, Scotland. It is Scotland's second highest waterfall with a single drop of 120 metres (390 ft).The fall can be viewed from the path that runs through the Nevis Gorge, an area owned by the John Muir Trust which manages the area for its wilderness qualities. An Steall Bàn means "The White Spout" in Gaelic.
Steall falls can be found near Achriabhach/Glen Nevis, south of Fort Williams in Scotland (United Kingdom). Driving on the A82 at Fort Williams go south to Achriabhach/Glen Nevis. Here you can find a parking and It is not possible to drive further on, although there is a parking further up the road.
There is a trail going east following the river Nevis. After a sharp curve there is a bridge. From here you already can see Steall falls.The trip takes 60 minutes (4 kilometers).
