A unique natural wonder, the waterfall at Pulhapanzak is an amazing experience.  There are a number of amazing waterfalls throughout Honduras, Pulhapanzak is the largest, dropping about 140 feet (only 30 feet less of Niagara Falls).  One of the reasons it is so popular is because you can actually climb into a cave behind the waterfall and also swim around near the base.
The largest natural lake in Honduras, Lake Yojoa is located only 96 km South of San Pedro Sula on the main highway to Tegucigalpa. Lake Yojoa boasts some of the best bird watching opportunities in the country.
