Address -: COLA DE CABALLO FALLS ,Criato ,José Miguel de Velasco ,Santa Cruz Department ,Bolivia ,South America

This waterfall is located just few hundred metres from Arcoiris falls, in the opposite side of the ravine. It slides down along hard Precambrian quartzite rocks.Waterfall has formed on the rim of an enormous tableland - the 3,000 km² large Caparu Meseta. This is an unique plateau. For most part it is delimited with vertical cliff walls, which are up to 300 m high. It has extremely high biological diversity. On the plateau have developed several kinds of rare ecosystems, including a unique dry forest - the largest virgin Cerrado forest in the world.
To get to the Park it is advisable first to go to San Ignacio de Velasco, following the route: Santa Cruz - San Ramón - Concepción - San Ignacio. A San Ignacio can be reached by bus, but not to the Park, so the best thing to do is to go on your own or rent mobility.
After visiting San Ignacio you return a few kilometers to then take the road to Los Fierros and Flor de Oro or (Criato) in the heart of the Park.
It is also possible to rent light aircraft from Santa Cruz to reach the Park.
