Rjoandefossen is a waterfall in the municipality of Aurland in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. It is located about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) south of the village of Flåm. The waterfall is 241 metres (791 ft) tall and has three vertical falls, of which the tallest is 147 metres (482 ft).The waterfall is visible from the Flåm Line railway.
Most people will see most of the waterfalls along the Flåmbanen by train. The Rjoandefossen is also easy accessible by car/foot from Flam. To see the Rjoandefossen you have to leave road E16 and follow the signs for Flam Center. 
Just outside Flåm, the first waterfall on the right is Brekkefossen. A powerful waterfall with an overall height of 100 meters, probably higher (800 meters) if you count in the rest of the river. 
A little bit further (5 minutes) following the road and the train trail you will see the Rjoandefossen from a distance. From then on you can view the gigantic Rjoandefossen waterfall from several viewpoints photographing to the southwest, west and northwest. Best time to visit the Rjoandefossen is in the morning or midday .
