Limunsudan Falls is a two-tiered waterfall located in Sitio Limunsudan Brgy. Rogongon, Iligan City, in the province of Lanao del Norte, Philippines, 55 kilometers away from the City proper. It is said to be the Philippines' second highest waterfall, second only to Aliwagwag Falls in Cateel, Davao Oriental, with the latter having the total height of 340 metres (1,120 ft).
Limunsudan Falls can be reached by using a 4 x 4 type of vehicle about 2-3 hours travel of unpaved road reaching the nearest Barangay of the area, Barangay Panoroganan. From the said area, a day trek is needed to reach this wondrous creation of Mother Nature and that's about 15-20 hours of walking, trekking and having a rest. Moreover, the best way to reach this impressive fall is through the Talakag route which is about 5 hours travel ride using a 4 x 4 vehicle. Not so much hassle because you don't need to trek for almost a day compared to the longer way. Still, adventure always awaits you.
